One of our top events last year was the Bourbon Brunch, and we’re thrilled that Insomnia Café and Restaurant is the host this year, taking place on Sunday the 16th from 3-5pm.  The brunch will be two food and bourbon courses: the first course features Bourbon Braised Brisket Benedict paired with a “Buffalo Formula” In-House 5-Week Cask Aged Manhattan (aged in-house exclusively for Toronto Bourbon Week and made with Buffalo Trace), and a second course of Fried Chicken & Waffles with Bourbon Brown Butter and Bourbon Baked Beans, paired with Old Ezra’s Frozen Custard Float (consisting of Ezra Brooks Bourbon, House Frozen Vanilla Custard & Root Beer).  But that’s not all: Insomnia is also creating a bourbon cocktail feature menu for Toronto Bourbon Week, consisting of the above cocktails, plus The Toronto Sour (made with Ezra Brooks) and Kentucky Trail Mix (made with Woodford Reserve).
